Nobody wants a controlled explosion beside their building. What they want is for nothing to happen at all.

Problem

Pinsey's work is measured in centimeters. Charges calculated per hole, vibration limits agreed with neighbors before the first drill, engineers signing off on each plan. The brand carried none of that. A logo untouched since the company started, a site built to exist rather than to explain, and a first impression that undersold every job behind it.

Solution

We started from the buying decision, not the logo. For a site manager choosing who blasts rock next to an occupied building, price is never the first question. Control is: who holds the licenses, who has done this inside a city, who picks up the phone when a neighbor calls. The site was rebuilt to answer those three in that order, and the five service lines were separated so a visitor could find their own job instead of reading a company profile.

The hard part wasn't the site. It was the logo. It had been on truck doors and helmets since the company started, and in a market this size that recognition is an asset, not a legacy problem. So we didn't replace it. We [corrected the proportions, fixed the spacing, and redrew the mark to hold at small sizes], keeping the silhouette a client would recognize at a distance. Newer, not new.

"Before, we had to explain what we did over the phone. Now, the caller already knows, and the conversation starts with the specific work."
